If you\u2019re really creative, really imaginative, you don\u2019t have to make things. You just have to live, observe, think, and feel. Coleridge, in his poem \u201c<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.poetryfoundation.org\/poem\/173242\">Frost at Midnight<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">,\u201d uses, as his metaphor for the creative imagination, the frost, which freezes the evening dew into icicles \u201cquietly shining up at the quiet moon.\u201d The poem begins: \u201cThe Frost performs its secret ministry, \/ Unhelped by any wind.\u201d The secret, silent, delicate, and temporary work of the frost is creativity, too. It doesn\u2019t build, but it transforms.
